Mental Health & Well-being

We recognise that sometimes children and their families may need extra support. We have listed a few possible charities and organisations that may be of use to you if you feel extra support is needed. Please do remember we have an open-door policy here at Nateby Primary School, so please do come and speak to us and we may be able to offer other assistance.

More information about our Early Help Offer can be found here.

We are a  myHappymind which is all based around helping children to understand how their brain works and to support them in developing positive skills and habits to be their very best selves!

myHappymind is delivered in schools by class teachers through a series of interactive lessons and then the children apply these learnings throughout the day.

To further embed this learning, myHappymind has developed a Parent App. These resources can be accessed online on your computer, or through an app on your phone. The Parent App will support you as a parent in understanding what your child is learning and activities for you to do together at home. There are also videos, guidance and support for many other areas.

The Kooth team are here to provide free, safe and anonymous online support and counselling. The whole team are made up of friendly and experienced individuals who want to help you.
