About Us

Nateby Primary School is located in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Garstang, only 1 mile from the A6 & The Bellflower Restaurant. The school was extended in 2008. We have 4 classrooms that currently accommodate around 87 children in total. 3 classes are a mixed-age class with a class teacher and 1 to 2 teaching assistants in each and one smaller classroom accommodates one year group.

We believe that learning should be fun. Lessons are planned to give children a real sense of the subject, to meet their immediate learning needs; to be interesting and exciting.

We aim to provide a stimulating and exciting curriculum for all pupils without sacrificing high standards. Our last OFSTED rated us as good in every area.

We run school clubs on-site every morning from 7.45-8.55am and after school until 5.30pm. We aim to provide something for everyone for example: art club, mindfulness, netball, golf, gym, dance, cooking, sports, language club. School teams include: football, netball, swimming, rounders, athletics.

Our school is very much part of the community we have a very active, friendly parent/ teacher association organising numerous community and fund-raising events. Alongside our PSFA, we also work closely with the members of Nateby in Bloom to help improve the community and work collaboratively on new ventures.

We are very proud of our school and would love to show you around. Ring our office and make an appointment on 01995 602945.
